The Extraordinary Resurrection plants.

Our ancestors discovered the power of many healing herbs including Myrothamnus Flabellifolia plant also known as resurrection plant/ Vuka in native Siswati language). The plant appears to die completely during a drought, and the leaves appear black and parched. when it rains, a miracle happens, the plant revives in a few hours and its leaves become lush and green again. A marvel of nature! Scientists have examined the plant's ability to rehydrate and rejuvenate itself in order to determine its possible use as a cosmetic component. Clinical studies show that 3,4,5-tri-O-galloylquinic acid, a polyphenolic tannin, and a disaccharide (trehalose) combine to quickly hydrate the skin and prevent desiccation. Trehalose is associated with anhydrobiosis, the process by which plants are able to withstand prolonged desiccation because of their potent capacity to retain water.

Special hand - made extraction method

local mothers and community members gather, dry and process the leaves, stems, and seeds. To get Myrothamnus Flabellifolia out of its protective, dormant state, its leaves are heated to a specific temperature in pure water. Myrothamnus Flabellifolia's life-reviving qualities are enhanced by this painstaking extraction technique, which combines powerful active compounds with minerals that enhance life.
